The First Trust Bloomberg Emerging Market Democracies ETF (the "Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of an equity index called the Bloomberg Emerging Market Democracies Index (the "Index"). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the common stocks, depositary receipts, preferred shares, real estate investment trusts ("REITs"), and other securities that comprise the Index.
